Liked: The effort made by the reception to welcome guests and visitors to the city.The polite kindness of staff.
Disliked: Perhaps understaffed or need a better system to note down customer requests as I had to wait over an hour on some fresh towels and toilet roll. They had forgotten or been understaffed clearly.

Disappointing

Liked: Close to Manchester Oxford Road station and adjacent to Bridgewater Hall
Disliked: Hotel is overpriced and underwhelming. Not a good start when the two people in front of us at the check-in were complaining about their rooms. Our room was clean but tiny - only just space for the double bed. Not what you expect for the price paid. Breakfast could have redeemed things somewhat but turned out to be decidedly average. The staff we encountered mostly appeared to wish they were somewhere else.
