Everything was great except for...

Disliked: The WI-FI the first 24-36 hours was horrible. It made it impossible to enjoy YouTube.

Very shabby, in need of...

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Very old, poorly cared-for. One lift was out of service leaving only one other for the entire hotel, which was woefully inadequate. Rooms had a terrible smell. Front desk was understaffed but the guy who was working it did the best he could under the circumstances. He had to lend me his keys so I could open the door between the connecting rooms as he couldn’t leave reception. A picture in the hall crashed down during the night and was left shattered.

Interesting city to visit. Enjoyed...

Liked: Halfway between station and old town. Our 2 requirements. Very nice Italian restaurant next to hotel. A convenient place to stay.

Decent accommodation, excellent breakfast.

Liked: Good location and excellent breakfast with a range of hot and cold food including vegetarian options. Coffee machine in room was a nice touch. Room was spacious.Comfortable bed and clean facilities.
Disliked: Bathroom was small and the shower screen was too short resulting in water splashes. Old building and bathroom felt a bit rickety despite obvious recent renovation. Odour of cigarette smoke in the building.
