Liked: Lovely staff, wonderful location and comfortable room. Breakfast is also well worth it and the lady who runs it is so helpful to me and my son - always smiling!
Disliked: Need to vaccum under the beds

Outstanding staff and great breakfast

Liked: Outstanding staff were a key feature of our 3 night stay. Carly and Geraldine on Reception were a delight. Karen at the Bar was lovely. Breakfast staff were excellent. Comfortable beds, spacious room, quiet, great air con/heating. Breakfast had plenty of variety and a gluten free station with 3 items and toaster. Staff did not rush guests out like a lot of chain hotels. Cosy bar area. We received a complimentary free drink in the bar each and 3 coffee vouchers each. Also a free 2 hour late checkout. We will definitely stay again when next visiting Exeter.
Disliked: We had a fridge in our room but I don't think it worked very well if at all. The hairdryer in the room was broken.We would have eaten in the restaurant, however there were very limited gluten free vegetarian/vegan options.

Liked: The mattress and blanket were great. The location of the hotel, huge parking opposite the hotel. We were offered a welcome drink on the occasion of Christmas.
Disliked: Hotels of this level should have both high and hard pillows and soft ones. I found it very difficult to sleep on a hard pillow. The bathroom was not very clean: some other people's hair was on the bathtub itself and stains from previous guests on the bathroom tiles.
