Great hotel, great location, lovely...

Liked: Lovely staff, my daughter was very happy to get a personalised card and balloons in celebration of her birthday and first trip abroad.
Disliked: The only thing was when I purchased breakfast tickets, I handed them to one of the staff in the breakfast area. I was then asked several times for our room number and was told we hadn’t purchased breakfast with our stay. We had to explain we had purchased breakfast tickets and handed them to another member of staff. Whilst I understood why we were questioned it was a bit irritating. This only happened the once, the following day we purchased breakfast tickets again, handed them in and were not questioned.

Can’t beat the location!

Liked: Attention to detail was lacking. The staff was very nice. Ask for a Garden View room - much quieter. They give earplugs and eye coverings for street view rooms and they were needed!

Liked: Great fresh breakfast with pastries, fruit, meat, cheese, and cappuccino. Fun pancake machine. Loved the mural of a famous museum library on the back wall. Great location near trams, museums, and many, many fine restaurants.
Disliked: As advertised the room was cozy, just room for two beds and a desk. Had to live out of my suitcase because there is a small closet cubby, but no drawers or dresser. Crack in the sink.

Liked: It was our 45th wedding anniversary and the front desk staff especially (Ingar). I probably didn't spell her name correctly went above & beyond for us. Decorated our hotel room, a great surprise to us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.One thing I didn't like are the new sinks in the bathrooms. The water spout is TOO LONG.You can't wash your face or brush you teeth without getting water all over the floor. The spout needs to be cut back at least 3-4 inches.

Location was perfect but rooms...

Liked: Rooms were in the basement or underground level. The entire floor stinks due to poor drainage. The stench runs on the whole basement floor.
Disliked: The room was very small - Room number 13 and the bed was inadequate for two persons to sleep. The bathroom was poorly designed and the water flows all over the floor. The shower door is unable to contain the water within. The TV was provided completely out of the sight from the bed or chair from where one would view.
