Liked: We paid a little extra for the Deluxe room and it was so well worth it. We were on the top floor (6th) and had the corner room with a double balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fresh, well stocked, lots of choices and very tasty. We were there for 2 nights and our room was cleaned up after the first night which were impressed by. We were able to store our bags after checkout because our flight home wasn't til later. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Metro (Canal) station and then 4 stops to the city center. Get off at either Opera or Sol. So easy! Would highly recommend the Italian restaurant a few doors down from the hotel, it's called Noi Due. We found it on the second night, wished we had found it sooner! Amazing food! We really enjoyed Madrid, loads to see. Weather in Feb was sunny but cool, The evenings were quite cold, warm jackets were needed.
