Great location, clean and near...

Liked: Clean, comfy beds, fluffy towels, free breakfast, next to a target, Starbucks and metro station.

Served its purpose but not...

Liked: Most of the staff was wonderful. There's one guy at the front desk who might be the most bubbly human being I've ever met. At breakfast, one guy was constantly in motion and on top of everything. Location right by subway was super convenient. The shower didn't look great but the water pressure was incredible. Breakfast was pretty good when I got in early.
Disliked: The carpet in my room was my biggest complaint. It was ancient and beyond disgusting. Every other room on my floor seemed to have newer carpet and mine had actual holes in it and was fraying on the sides. I was very careful to only step on it with socks or shower shoes (which I also showered it, highly recommend) but accidentally touched it the last morning and wanted to burn my foot off. So disgusting, it felt oily. No housekeeping really. There was a note that they'd come on my 4th day which was actually my 5th out of 6. Also on my last day there was a weird moment where a desk clerk basically refused to help me. At first he said someone else was there first. Sure, fine, not a problem. But then he helped two other people and I just followed and helped myself. I have no idea why people aren't trusted with a key but it was a weird system and for a major germaphobe it wasn't great since everyone was touching that key and I couldn't possibly keep up with sanitizing it. Also the television was bolted to the wall in a way that I couldn't access the HDMI and use my firestick. All of my towels were frayed or had holes. The crucifix on the wall gave me the creeps. Just a series of hot mess express notes.

Great staff and location

Liked: Everyone was so kind and helpful! Everything was clean. The room was quite spacious compared to the average NYC hotel room. The luggage storage was very convenient!

Disliked: I had to pay Cash for the payment through you or Credit card didn t arrive

Avoid

Liked: The location to the subway.
Disliked: Wires everywhere in the room, paint chipping off, bath cracked, router hanging on a wire off the wall. The room was too hot and there was no air conditioning. Doors were slammed from all over the hotel at all hours of the night. The lightswitch was in the middle of the room so it was difficult to find from entering the room. The fixtures and fittings were falling to pieces, with paint hanging off, cupboard handles missing, bath chipped and no plug in the bath. The staff were all but two, very gloomy. They did not greet you when you came in and were grumpy and did not smile. Despite a headboard on the photograph, I had no headboard and the window catches were broken. Nothing was good about this place. If it were in Europe, it would be closed down.
