Disappointing

Liked: Thought it was closer to the beach. Had to wait 8 hours to get a room that was supposed to have a rollaway which it did not. They claimed it was not their fault it did was listed incorrectly on booking site

Charming hotel at a great...

Liked: Great location. Sun beds included on the beach.Charming boutique style hotel with a relaxing pool area in a serene courtyard.Room was elegant and gave an overall luxurious feel.Great service level including the charming team that helped with some transportation with the golf cart.

Liked: The breakfast was very good and the breakfast staff were very attentive and accomodating
Disliked: For the purpose of our stay I didnt find a negative, maybe only that during the day there are not enough sun loungers but this is not a complaint just an observation

Frustrating and disappointing due to...

Liked: location was great, near beach, restaurants etc.Staff were very attentive, polite and responsive to requests.Hotel was beautifully laid out, lovely ambience and setting.Lifts to beach and surrounding area in the hotel buggy was great.
Disliked: Unfortunately, despite the beautiful decor and ambience of the Hotel, the room allocated to us was too small for our 7 night stay. We were 3 adult women, with 6 pieces of luggage between us, sharing one tiny room with 2 double beds that took up most of the space. American double beds are size of Australian King single and too small for 2 adults to sleep comfortably. No space to put all our luggage. Only one small built in cupboard/desk. Hardly any room for all of us to shower/change. One person had to go out of the room to make space for other to change/dress. We had to keep suitcases closed and only open as needed. Desite a 3 person booking, only 2 of all everything in the room, such as cups/glasses/ towels/robes. We got extra one, but had to keep asking everyday from housekeeping. Only 2 free sun longers/beach towels available free at the beach as part of resort fee. We had booked a room with pool view, we got one right outside the pool. We had to keep the curtains drawn all the time for privacy, making the room dark and claustrofobic. Room had sun loungers right outside the door, for use by anyone which meant we had strangers lounging outside our door constantly. There were not enough loungers, and the ones there were too close to the small pool due to limited space. With kids spalshing in the pool, you got water splashing onto you while using the loungers. Not ideal when you're trying to relax. The room's limitations, concerns about privacy and small pool area spolit our enjoyment and appreciation of what was otherwise a beautiful setting.
