Liked: I really liked the beds and the cleanliness of the bed linen, and in general, the cleanliness of the room.
Disliked: I didn't like the unpleasant smell when you first enter the room. Like the smell of something old. After airing it got better. The front door is in terrible condition. The smoke detector is not connected, which can be dangerous.

Liked: Nice decor and clean. Good location.
Disliked: I was on the bottom floor. Noise from upstairs was very loud. Could hear every step.

Liked: Location. Looked recently remodeled
Disliked: While it looked recently remodeled, the remodel was sub par. The shower door wouldn’t close or stay latched. The bathroom window felt loose and did not fasten closed easily.

Good location, but on site...

Liked: Staff failed to clean our room as requested. We had to retrieve additional towels from the lobby cabinet. Also, the checkin through a computer screen was poor. Wrong key code initially provided. Delayed check in. Someone on site to assist, finally.

A nice working class hotel...

Liked: Great location in working class part of Palo Alto on El Camino. Good restaurants close by, good for walking to. Highly recommended.

Clean but soulless

Liked: Room was clean and the night stands are cute.
Disliked: Terrible sound insulation meant I heard my neighbors and their doors all night. The front desk lobby is depressing and only gets worse when I had to interact with their dystopian virtual checkout system.
