Great value! Friendly and accommodating...

Liked: Great location and ski shuttle. Great price for the space in the loft and kitchenette. Hot tub was nice to have and good sizeThe stocked kitchenette was great! Cozy loungeWork out room was great size with good machinery/weights for a hotel, although changing the carpet to a moppable floor would be more cleanly.
Disliked: Shower was a little dirty. Hot tub was pretty clean but had a few dirty bubbles that were a little gross. The guys said the pull out bed was uncomfortable. It seemed old. No fan in the bathroom. We had to check in about 40 minutes late because the room was not ready, but they took off the resort fee and allowed us to check out a long hour later. Would have been to have DVDs to check out to watch in the rooms on the DVD players

We enjoyed staying in Legacy...

Liked: We were booked into Legacy Hilltop, after 1 day we were moved to Legacy Suites.Legacy Hilltop 1 bedroom in the loft has a bathroom (with bath) en suite, plenty of cupboard space and storage for wet ski boots and another bathroom (with bath) downstairs. So effectively 2 bathrooms per 4 sleeper.Legacy Hilltop has 2 jacuzzi baths and an indoor heated swimming pool available.Legacy Hilltop has a fireplace and lounge areas for families. it also has ski & boot storage facilities.Legacy Suites is in Steamboat Springs town, on the free bus route. It is also close walking distance to 2 grocery stores. It has a big living space - kitchen & dining area.Legacy Suites has a laundry room
Disliked: We did not like being moved after 1 night from Legacy Hilltop to Legacy Suites.1 Shuttle bus for peak season was insufficient.There was only 1 shuttle bus that was very slow in arriving. The outside temperatures were -17C , so waiting outside for 30 minutes is not pleasant. Our family group was a group of 10 people so the shuttle would be fill when were all seated inside. During new year (high peak seasons) Legacy needs more shuttle buses from the resort to the ski slopes and back. Staff insufficiently trained in Hilltop and Legacy. Some staff could not even understand English.Servicing of the 3 rooms was not up to international standards. Our 3 rooms were not serviced for an entire 14 day period. This is not acceptable. On requesting service of the rooms after 6 days, the staff member quoted $40 per room for servicing. This is ridiculous !!We managed to get clean towels after 6 days but not clean sheets. We did not like washing our own towels and linen.
