Not a good value

Liked: The rate is too high for the bad service and ordinary room. I was initially overcharged and have to go to the receptionist to reconfirm. The guy who was there was persistent that I should pay the extra charge and they finally honor the rate that I have from booking.com after he called his supervisor. Not recommend to stay here honestly, there are way better hotels out there with better value.

Pleasant enough, not memorable.

Liked: Nice and clean interior ambience. Centrally located for many attractions but that comes with the obvious downside of gritty, dirty streets right outside the hotel doors. Interesting swimming pool with part-glass floor you can see through to the hotel entrance below. Staff very courteous and welcoming.
Disliked: Shower was very tepid, ironic given how scalding hot the water from the hot water faucet was. Safe in our room was unreliable because the battery compartment was missing its cover and the batteries were held in by masking tape - for a hotel of this stature, rather unimpressive.

Liked: the bed was super comfy. we were here for a convention at palais du congress, it was literally across the street, i didnt even need a jacket in february.
Disliked: the shower was showing its age a bit, and the showerhead was not great for washing hair. the silicon around the base of the shower had some black areas with silverfish coming out.
