Beautiful hotel that, once refreshed...

Liked: The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious.When the pool is available it must be really nice. The facilities look really nice but we were in the middle of construction work
Disliked: Despite the major construction work we didn’t have any discount whatsoever.The hotel definitely needs refreshment. (Which they are currently doing)

A short visit

Liked: The location is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The convenience of a kitchenette.
Disliked: The website and booking.com did not advertise that although the breakfast was included the lobby and restaurant were being renovated and it became a to go bag.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel was being refurbished so there was construction noise. The breakfast room was not available so takeout only was available. Having worked for a hotel I understand the need to update but feel more could have been done to mitigate the impact. A complimentary or discounted room on a next stay would have been nice and would bring in repeat guests.

Great location with friendly staff

Liked: The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The hotel is undergoing a renovation. I am hoping our room hadn't been renovated yet as the furnishings were tired. The bed was okay. We weren't told to put out the sign if we wanted our room serviced so we missed a day of service. When they did service our room they left us with one towel. I had to go to the front desk and was given more towels.

Liked: A friendly welcome from Lynda who couldn't do enough to make our stay a good one. Bed comfortable and shower fine.
Disliked: The room was very dark.
