Charming hotel in the old...

Liked: The hotel location was wonderful and the service at the hotel. Brasserie 701 was wonderful too, great food and service
Disliked: Very noisy with constructions early in the morning and room did not have blackout coverings

Nice but pricey

Disliked: 1* restaurant - terrible. Not good value, too expensive for what you get...save yourself 50% and find another hotel 2-3 block away. Avoid the restaurant for dinner

Wonderful experience at Place d’...

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Great location. Staff excellent, rooms excellent. Concierges (both) were also excellent. We only ate at the Asian restaurant but we loved it
Disliked: They need an ice machine for guests to access . I ordered ice every day and some days I had to wait almost 30 min . the valet said he gets a lot of ice requests. More reason for an accessible ice maker. Elevators very slow and you share them with the cleaning staff and their big carts. No dedicated service elevator I guess which I get because it’s an older building but the wait some days was long Other than those two items I had a wonderful time staying there

Disliked: A little bit of night life across the street but not too bad. The bed could use a new mattress or fluffy cover.

So comfortable not to have...

Liked: The location near the old Town but not right in the midst of the crowds and construction,. was ideal. They provided a quiet room upon request.Concierge ( Ricardo)was outstanding in his recommendations and took time with us to answer all of our questions. The entire staff was fantastic in assisting us. Amanda, Irene, Kelsey at the main desk were always available and helpful. Bastian and the crew at the door were faultless in their handling of the baggage and our vehicle. Would stay here again, no question!
Disliked: Parking was expensive but convenient. Was surprised the hotel coffee was not too good. Don’t care for those Nespresso machines that give you an Expresso equivalent. However there are outstanding coffee cafes all around the area.
