Beautiful garden but hôtel need...
Liked: Beautiful garden an pool and comfy bed
Disliked: When you get in the entrance it feels like a old and not well maintained hotel. Lobby and restaurant need major Reno and ceilings are too low!

Disappointed due to sloppiness
Liked: The professionalism of the Front Office Manager and of a lady (Maroccian origin?) At breakfast. They both made our stay!
Disliked: The room (not completely clean, dirty windows, coffre-fort not working), the renovation works going on and the manner of behaving by the staff in the restaurant during dinner. Also, the way these ladies were dressed or weared their pantalon was not really appreciated.

Wonderful hotel with fantastic garden...
Liked: A wonderful place to spend leisure time, particularly notable for their food services (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and lovely garden venues, with notable garden bar and many private areas with comfortable chairs/sofas. Rooms were spacious and quiet, had all modern amenities. Very welcoming, secluded from the crowds of the town, yet close enough for an easy walk to town center.

Sadly not a 5 star...
Liked: Beautiful garden and pool, comfy bed.
Disliked: Small bedroom with sad decor. Poor bathroom which had been given a cheap facelift. Disruption due to building work and we were allocated a room directly above. A warm welcome but disappointing departure after an error with the bill. No-one asked if we enjoyed our stay!

I am sure Le Pigonnet...
Disliked: Le Pigonnet should have been closed during these very extensive renovations. In addition to the considerable inconveniences and underplanning (change of venue for breakfast when summer rains arrive), most of the front desk staff appears quite junior—at a time when more senior staff are needed to manage expectations and issues.Truly irresponsible of the hotel group not to notify potential guests BEFORE reservations are finalized or instead to considerably discount room rates. I have stayed in hotels doing renovations before, but this goes beyond any reasonable level to combine with accommodating guests.
