Disappointing

I needed a place that...

Nice location, near Sacré Cœur...

Liked: Well located.
Disliked: Stairs. Not recommended for seniors.

Disappointing

Liked: Location. We chose to talk from the Paris station (Gare de l'est) and it took around 30 minutes. The hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from the Metro station and 3-4 minutes walk from Bus stations. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The staff was very polite and friendly. There was also a common kitchen which they allowed us to use.
Disliked: The room wes in terrible condition. I was prepared to carry my luggage and a baby stroller as I had read in other reviews about the spiral stareways. But we were dissappointed to see the rooms. It was literally dimly lit, damp and was very dirty. The white curtains looked like they weren't washed in ages as they had turned gray and had dirt all over them. The cieling was falling from a place, bathroom was too small and the whole place felt like a makeshift arrangement. and ofcourse there were noises coming from outside, perhaps because the walls/separation was too thin. The room was smelling because of dampness and we felt like not touching anything the whoe time we stayed inside the room.

Disliked: Rooms doesn't look like the pictures. It is not clean and not comfortable.There is no elevator and have to carry your luggage through the spiral staircase. Luckily we booked only for 1 night.
