Overall, it was disappointing and...

Liked: Breakfast choice was excellent.Location was good for seeing the sights.
Disliked: Room was upgraded to city view but the metal furnishings in the room were very minimalistic. The air-conditioning controls did not seem to work in spite of an engineer saying it was fixed. Very hot in the room on our arrival which then changed to various degrees of cold regardless of the temperature selected.The fridge was not working and had to be changed on day one.The tv was not working and had to be fixed by an engineer. The on/off reception was very hit and miss.The main restaurant was situated within the bar area and had loud 'disco' music playing throughout our meal, certainly not a very relaxed atmosphere.

Enjoyable weekend break

Liked: Quiet room (courtyard view) comfortable bed, good air conditioning. Option of a bath or shower. Staff friendly and helpful - notable mentions to Mariam and to Paulo. Breakfast was from a wide variety of possible choices - was it really Prosecco O'clock ?? and good filter coffee at the table. Took the green option and had a free drink instead of daily towel changes. Sauna and spa restful.Location on the Ringstrasse excellent - near opposite the Hofburg, trams and U bahnn.
