Good Location in Philly!
Liked: The location was great! A short walk to Reading Terminal Market and around the corner from City Hall. The hotel was also walkable to stores. There were a couple of festivals happening while we were in town. The beds were comfortable and the food in the restaurant was good.
Disliked: The bathroom had what appeared to be make up stains on the wall paper and there was soap scum and conditioner on the shower walls. This did not impact our stay, but it was noticeable.

I enjoyed everything about my...
Liked: I loved everything about out this grand hotel. It’s conveniently located with beautiful decor that takes you back to a level of Hollywood glamour and luxury that many new hotels can’t understand. The staff was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of our stay.
Disliked: Nothing. Had a wonderful time.

Ok for 1-2 days but...
Liked: The room was spacious but dark. Not much sunlight coming in at any time. Bed was comfortable.The staff at the front desk appeared to be helpful during the day time when I checked in. But see comments on the negative aspects below.
Disliked: 1. When I checked in, I did not have my Marriott number handy. So I returned with the number in 30 minutes and the front desk staff told me that they have added it in for free wifi. When I checked out, the total charges did not reflect any wifi fees. However, after I left the premises, they sent me another receipt where they charged me for the wifi ($21 for 2 days). 2. The front desk staff upon checking in did not mention anything about a breakfast voucher at all. I had booked a breakfast inclusive package. They mentioned the time etc but nothing about a voucher. In the morning, the nice breakfast lady had me go back to the front desk and collect a voucher. The front desk asked me for confirmation of this etc etc. She still did not mention a separate coffee voucher! I was told I cannot have coffee with my breakfast because apparently there's a coffee voucher in my room which I did not bring. Anyway, long story short - there was NO coffee voucher in the room. All in all, bad vibes and bad experience.3. the coffee maker in the room in INSIDE the closet. It is a safety hazard. The steam from the coffee maker fills the closet, so you have to keep the doors open for a long time. My clothes were smelling of coffee and needed airing elsewhere. I would have given it a 4 rating because of how I felt and the issues I had with simple things like wifi and coffee. But the stay was otherwise okay, so I'm giving it a 6. For sure, will NOT stay here again. I am surprised I had this experience at a Marriott hotel
