Disliked: I was offered 2 rooms at first with no view. All I got was a wall outside my room. If you’re staying at levels 1-5 you might not have a view. I certainly would think that the hotel should advise you of this before you book it as it’s not cheap to stay there. Imagine paying so much and to get a room with a wall for a view.

Good for staycation or romance...

Liked: My partner and I really liked the central location of Le Meridien, which made it convenient to walk to the corner of Bourke Street and Swanston Street. There are plenty of shops nearby, and it’s easy to get around, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel. Parliament Station is only a short walk away as well.The Deluxe room we stayed in was stylish, clean, and very comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day out. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. We especially enjoyed the rooftop pool with its stunning city views, along with the bar food being served on time. My partner also received his complimentary surprise birthday cake and a bottle of red wine. We were very impressed with the overall experience and did not disappoint at all.
