Unexpected gem.

Liked: Good location and easy to find. Breakfast was very good. Loved the size of the room. Will definitely use again.

Liked: New bed and new matras.The wifi connection and available bandwidth was excellent.The staff was very friendly.Parking at the hotel was free.
Disliked: Separate toilet in room which smelled like a public men’s toilet.Mold, rust and broken tiles in bathroom.Personal note: my room was a time-warp to the living room of my grandparents in the 1980s

For someone on the move,...

Liked: Generally good for an overnight en route. Upgrade nice with attendant facilities (which I hardly used) but nice to see dressing-gown etc.
Disliked: Room was seriously overheated. Outside temps were about 11o so not particularly cold. Had a heat/air-co unit in room with which I was familiar. No way to cool, only heat. Eventually had to open windows etc. but was awake at 0530 due to heat. Have communicated this to hotel and received reply/apology which is good. However, I was on a trek from Cherbourg to Costa Brava in Spain > 1,000 km and used BX as a break. Didn't really work. Additionally notice in lift said breakfast from 0600 onward. I went for breakfast at 0645 to be told that breakfast was starting at 0730. Additionally dining room closed on Sun evening (don't the French eat on Sundays???) but found a good brasserie next door "Au Bureau".
