Please, improve cleaning and punctuality...
Disliked: Waited about one hour for the person to do the checkin, there was no one at the reception desk. The bed has not been cleaned

Definitely recommend.
Liked: Thank you for hosting, definitely will suggest! Reception was welcoming and helpful, appreciate to you. Room was clean, bed, comfortable. Please just fix a shower, all other was good. Rooms big.
Disliked: Just need to fix shower, and add sope plz.

The hostel was commercial, joyless...
Liked: The hostel is close to the train station.
Disliked: There were no toilets on my floor and I had to go to the lobby to use the toilet.

Unpresentable bed and no Night...
Liked: Private Sockets for beds.Constant Airflow to room2 lockers for storage space
Disliked: Bed not clean or presentable.Wrong linen sizes used on bedLadder for the top bunk is difficult to use.No night staff on standby for customer support.

Liked: Good for short stay, convenient to the train station for an onward journey.
Disliked: A bath rather than a shower in a dorm with six beds. This seemed quite impractical slippy and indeed dangerous. Rather unheard of in dorms.

Liked: I'm modifying my review as Miss Sofiane from the management demonstrated to care about the issue. I felt like she was honestly trying to make it right within the limits of her possibilities and I want to show gratitude. I would try the venue again if I went to Grenoble again and would give it another chance because it would have been a pleasant stay without the reception problem. I won't lie and say that it was 5 stars because it inevitably affected my stay even considering the management care, but I do appreciate several things about the structure that I didn't mention in my previous review due to the unacceptable treatment I received from the girl at the reception when I was there. I can see that there are people in the company who want to do well and just have had bad luck in the staff hiring process, I hope they can fix the issue because from what I've seen in the commentary, there are many people who've had several very bad experience because of staff behavior.
Disliked: Even if the management seems on the right track for good quality service, their price level and the standards they're trying to maintain can't allow episodes like that, certain people cannot be left by themselves unsupervised because they can easily destroy the experience of a paying guest who has no responsibility on the bad staff's behavior, no matter if your training is meant to teach them how to properly do the job, it's the management responsibility of knowing who to trust. Certain services at this hostel are slightly limited compared to usual hostels that normally leave a little more freedom. I understand that this facilitates things I like, for example: control, cleanliness, and order; but that means that the service team also has to stick to a higher standard. Goodwill and a good attitude would do the trick, there's no need for a luxury experience. Reception closing at 9.30 is not the best, but wasn't the problem, as I was on time and arrived 30 minutes before that.
