An overpriced and garishly decorated hotel that wastes its position in the old town

Liked: Reception staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: The room had no view. The windows opened onto an internal stairwell used by all other guests. The decor was tasteless and over the top. A large jacuzzi took up lots of space. The roof leaked during an overnight storm soaking some of our luggage

Rotten , uncomfortable and highly overpriced by at least 5 times .

Liked: only one thing , the attendant Alexis is a very helpful and pleasant person . He is the receptionist , bell boy , manager , travel agent , all rolled into one as there is no other staff
Disliked: its a very small ne very old structure where out of seven , some rooms have been made barely habitable and others are still under renovation . sleeping arrangement in on ground level , and bathroom has been made artificially creating a mezzanine level . you have to climb 15 steps to access and it is quite unsafe also . you bang your head on roof while going up and down . Theres a good chance of falling down . apart from tea and coffee maker in the room , theres no arrangement for any food . it seems that booking.com has done no survey of the facility before giving it a score of 8.9 . I intend to take up with them for a refund .
