Liked: Very close to the city and thermal spa.
Disliked: You could here people in the opposite room talking.

Whilst travelling - quick stopover...

Liked: Fantastic food. Friendly service
Disliked: Very dated bathrooms. Bedrooms quite small but comfortable bed.

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The town was beautiful.
Disliked: We were only passing through, it would be good to stay a little longer

Lovely little hotel for short...

Liked: The hotel is what you expect from a 2 star french hotel. The staff great check-in was straightforward. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage for a couple of days stay. We opted to pay for breakfast, which was good value with quality food. The location for Royat was ideal, and the parking was good.
Disliked: The rooms were on the small side and a little bit old fashioned in decoration. The shower cubicle was very small, and the power of the water was low in the shower.

Ok for two nights when...

Liked: Convenience for Charade Track
Disliked: Old furniture and bathroom

Not so exciting, not in...

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Air conditioning to be set just by the reception that was in another building, two floors down without lift. No air ventilation equipment nor window in the bathroom. Reception and hotel closed between 13:30 and 16:00, so no chance to get in in that timeframe.
