Just steps from the majestic Château Frontenac, the Terrasse Dufferin, the Citadel and the famous Quartier Petit Champlain, the hotel is part of the historic sites of Old Quebec. The history of Quebec City is intimately linked to its quite exceptional geographic location. It is perched on a promontory, called Cap-Diamant, on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, which offers visitors a fascinating setting. One night will not be enough to visit so many places of discovery, to admire all the many attractions of the Old Capital, marked by four centuries of history. Quebec is also known for its many museums and cultural institutions. Museums, historic sites, boutiques, festivals, carnivals, shows, gastronomy, Quebec City has so much to offer! You will be enveloped by one of the most beautiful places in North America which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will benefit from: cable TV, mini fridge (in some rooms), ice machine, common fridge and free Wi-Fi connection, available throughout the hotel. The hotel has its own private stone garden filled with seasonal flowers. It's the perfect place to relax. Being a historic building, the hotel does not have an elevator. Please note that the rooms in this historic hotel are only accessible by stairs. You can add a tasty full and varied breakfast at a great price. We serve this delicious Quebecois breakfast at our renowned restaurant La Bûche - which is located 656 ft from the hotel on rue Saint-Louis. Combining simplicity and autonomy, our recording is done completely digitally. With the exception of our room attendants, we have no staff on site. Excellent location and comfortable bed

Liked: The location and view of the room was excellent.
Disliked: The main entrance and staircase weren't really clean. There is no staff at that location everything works with codes.

Great location, terrible bed.

Liked: The location was amazing, the housekeeping was great, the room size was good for a short stay.
Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable. If you sleep on your side you will be very uncomfortable on this bed.

Great winter getaway with family!

Liked: Great location. Step out of the hotel and you are rewarded with the view of the Fairmont hotel and river. Perfect for exploring old Quebec on foot. Price v.s location can't be beat! Will be back in other seasons. To be fair, the description of the hotel clearly stated there are no elevators, no FREE breakfast, so all the complaining about those are just mind-boggling...
Disliked: Other guests didn't clean after themselves after using the kitchen. It's a "self"-catering kitchen!

Amazing value for the ideal...

Liked: You cannot beat the location, it’s absolutely the most amazing spot in the city. You have a view of the Chateau and the river.
Disliked: We loved the property, absolutely. It was so comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. We had only one interaction with the staff and he was pleasant and accommodating.
