Hotel Description
In the heart of Old Quebec, Le Château de Pierre welcomes you to the heart of its heritage history while offering you contemporary comfort. Just steps from the majestic Château Frontenac, the Terrasse Dufferin, the Citadel and the famous Quartier Petit Champlain, the hotel is part of the historic sites of Old Quebec. The history of Quebec City is intimately linked to its quite exceptional geographic location. It is perched on a promontory, called Cap-Diamant, on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, which offers visitors a fascinating setting. One night will not be enough to visit so many places of discovery, to admire all the many attractions of the Old Capital, marked by four centuries of history. Quebec is also known for its many museums and cultural institutions. Museums, historic sites, boutiques, festivals, carnivals, shows, gastronomy, Quebec City has so much to offer! You will be enveloped by one of the most beautiful places in North America which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will benefit from: cable TV, mini fridge (in some rooms), ice machine, common fridge and free Wi-Fi connection, available throughout the hotel. A private bathroom and cable TV are included in every air-conditioned guest room. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are also offered in the rooms. The hotel has its own private stone garden filled with seasonal flowers. It's the perfect place to relax. Being a historic building, the hotel does not have an elevator. Please note that the rooms in this historic hotel are only accessible by stairs. You can add a tasty full and varied breakfast at a great price. We serve this delicious Quebecois breakfast at our renowned restaurant La Bûche - which is located 656 ft from the hotel on rue Saint-Louis. Combining simplicity and autonomy, our recording is done completely digitally. With the exception of our room attendants, we have no staff on site. A few days before your arrival, we will be in contact with you to share the access codes and all the details you will need for your stay. Our staff is available at all times to accompany you during your stay. We can be reached by phone or text to answer all your requests

Beautiful, iconic, peaceful, yummy

Liked: The staff was helpful when I needed questions answered, there is a kitchen that made preparing things for myself so much easier,I loved the traditional decor and furniture, shower was fantastic Loved to see how Quebec City preserved old buildings.
Disliked: Snow plow noise a little loud but I was glad the roads were cleared so well and efficiently. It was a slightly longer walk to restaurants then I would have liked but it was good exercise!

Expect nothing and than you’d...

Liked: The property was old, it was beautiful from the outside.
Disliked: Inside was really dirty. There were no staff to ask questions to. The beds were uncomfortable and the washrooms so small you couldn’t sit on the toilet. It seemed more like a hostile than a hotel. We would not stay here again.

Beautiful room, very practical location,...

Liked: The location is unequaled, and you have the best view of the Château Frontenac. The room is absolutely lovely and charming, feels very royal and the shower was great!
Disliked: The rooms are not soundproof and if you're close to the entrance, you will hear every single person returning from a night on the town at 3 am, as well as the sounds from the street. There is no street parking, so plan an extra budget for one of the underground parkings nearby.

Recommended!

Liked: Great location, the room is exactly as you can see in the pictures before you book and the communication is very good, Every time I had a question they provide me with the right information (self check-in so we talked via phone)
Disliked: I can't say that I didn't like it because it makes sense, but I paid for an earlier check-in and late check-out even though I didn't see that the hotel was full…Would appreciate a more flexible approach
