Liked: The room was clean & pleasant. The hosts were very friendly and helpful
Disliked: When we arrived outside the house our first impression was that it was closed. The outside could be more welcoming. Did not like that you had to order your breakfast the day before and that it was stated on the menu that you were only offered two slices of toast. Also the notice in the bath room stating that if you wanted an extra towel etc you would be charged at £1.00 per item.

Liked: Location superb at the ‘right end’ of Barmouth. Rooms and view brilliant. Hosts were great and breakfasts, just enough. Highly recommend

Brilliant place to stay with...

Liked: What a fantastic place to stay. It was so good we will definitely be returning next year, but for longer. The room was spacious and very clean. Marie and Kevin are exceptional hosts and nothing was too much to ask. Every morning we would say where we were trekking off to that day and Marie would give us all the information we required to help with the day. The breakfast was very nice and was a good start to set you up for the day ahead. The location is ideal and only a five minute walk away from Barmouth centre. Our room had a lovely see view and we enjoyed watching the sunset of an evening on the two chairs provided. A great addition is the off road parking with plenty of space to leave your car. A highly recommended place to stay and thanks to Marie and Kevin for looking after us.
Disliked: There was nothing that we did not like.

Liked: The accommodation was lovely. The beds were comfortable & it was spotlessly clean. The view from the dining area was stunning. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into town & it was ideally placed to enjoy a walk across the bridge.Marie & Keith were very welcoming & couldn't do enough for you. There was a choice of delicious breakfasts that was freshly prepared & cooked each morning.. I would highly recommend staying at this property.
Disliked: There is nothing to not like about this property.

Lawrenny Lodge.

Liked: Lovely, relaxing atmosphere, welcoming, helpful owners, a comfortable & peaceful breakfast conservatory overlooking the estuary, excellent breakfast, ample on site, spacious parking, short walk down into Barmouth town & perfect as a central base for access to all the beautiful countryside & walks.
Disliked: There wasn't anything I disliked.

Liked: Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Kevin and Marie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their local knowledge was excellent - recommending all the best local spots. The accommodation itself was super clean, quiet and a home from home. Kevin cooked up an amazing breakfast with lots of options and Marie's front of our service was more than what you could ask for
