Liked: Staff friendly and helpful. Spacious room with a sea view. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: Bathroom door did not close and was wedged. Curtain missing a hook and drooped down. Wooden pelmet broken at end. Some marks on wallpaper. Room needed updating.

Disliked: No shampoo in bathroom I had to wash my hair with soap, didn’t have any time for visiting shops.Pictures on the wall in room 2 were creepy & strange

Liked: Some nice, thoughtful freebies. Tunnocjs chocolate biscuits on tea tray. Cotton wool balls, tissues etc in bathroom.
Disliked: Shower room looks good but not very easy to navigate around - too cramped

Having stayed in the Lauristion...

Liked: THe ladies in housekeeping were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: At dinner my wife asked for the salad dish but without the onions as she is allergic to them, only to be told that the onions were already mixed in ? Perhaps this means the fresh salad is bought in readymixed? The advertised late checkout was not granted. The breakfast tray arrived without cutlery or condiments.

Reasonable hotel and friendly staff

Liked: handy for visiting family. breakfast amazing if you turn up as you stated on pre-order, if you are late it can be a bit overcooked. staff are lovely and restaurant food excellent. tea/coffee and treats in room very good. beds very comfortable. room temperature good.
Disliked: refurbed bathroom already in need of attention. sink unit cupboard chipped. toilet seat loose. bed base covered with expanse of loose fabric that I tripped over, could have been nasty. had to go chasing a hairdryer that should have been in the room.
