Decent enough for a place...

Liked: staff were helpful and accommodating.
Disliked: Torn curtains, smell of the room, splatters of food or blood on the walls, possible blood in the bathroom, 20+ year old TV, and many other run down gross things.

Overall great experience , staff...

Liked: The breakfast
Disliked: To much noise

Glad we only booked for...

Liked: I grew up in Salinas and I was familiar with the Laurel Inn. I didn’t expect to see how the area and the motel deteriorated.
Disliked: I was worried that our car would be vandalized and the room needed a little revamping.

Liked: The staff and how helpful they were when there was a minor issue with the door locking.
Disliked: The smell, the ripped curtains, splatters of things all over the walls, the 20-year-old TV, the hard bed, the sticky floors, and the uneven toilet that was very loud when you rose off of it.
