It was clean but we...

Liked: The location was ok, only 5 minutes walk to the front.
Disliked: It stated there was parking but was told on arrival that it is £10 and that our car probably wouldn’t fit. When I looked back it did say on the confirmation email that parking was charged so it would have been ok but then had to go find parking elsewhere due to the size of parking allocation. In the family room the wardrobe wasn’t attached to the wall and it was leaning forward so much. When an adult walked past you could see it move and with a 7 and 8 year old we were so nervous about it toppling over. I understand why a hotel may use plastic sheets on the mattresses but every movement someone made, all you could hear was the plastic squeaking. The people in the room above us were playing their music so ridiculously loud that we were all still awake at 2am. I messaged the hotel about it but was told in the morning that the night porter can’t get access to the messages so nothing could be done, although I’m not sure how the night porter didn’t hear it, was like a rave in the room. We were given a remote with the WiFi password on but it kept saying the password was incorrect and wouldn’t connect. Not a major big deal but would have been nice to have been able to go online with us being awake most of the night. The bathroom floor was very uneven and slippy, even when the shower hadn’t been used etc. The toilet seat didn’t fit, was too small for the toilet and kept nipping my child’s leg, they came home with a bruise where the skin had been nipped each time. Having to pay a £50 cash deposit on arrival was a little unusual, I’ve never had to do that before and didn’t find that out until we arrived.

Disliked: The shower head was total clogged with dirt some one cleaned it but was the exact same . Told she would not have a problem showering in it but unfortunately the 3 of us had no shower for 3 days
