Really enjoyed our stay at...

Liked: This is a beautiful property. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are excellent. Centrally located.
Disliked: Only complaint is the lack of hot water in the rooms. Showers had to run for several minutes before tepid water would flow. Neighbouring bars can be a bit loud at night, but Las Casas does a good job of soundproofing the rooms.

Superb

Liked: Gorgeous accomodations; very romantic. I could not figure out how they'd put together such a peaceful garden oasis in the middle of the busiest part of town. You'd never know what you were right next to. If you like resorts, where you can get drinks and massages and meals and sit by the pool without leaving the premises, this is a good place for you.
Disliked: There was pretty much no hot water. Tepid at best. The climate there is so forgiving, we didn't freeze to death. But a shower that was at least warm would have been nice. There is no hot water in the bathroom sinks; hard for men shaving. The restaurant was hit-or-miss at best. But it was a lovely place to dine or have breakfast. Glamour over food quality or value.

Disliked: Even though we asked for a quiet room, we were in a room next to an extremely noisy street. The staff mentioned that the windows were sound proof, but nevertheless the room was noisy and it was impossible to sleep. The installations are not worth the price, with cheap materials and some areas that would really need maintenance. The restaurant is ok, but quite overpriced for what it is (120 pesos for a coffee!). The experience was so bad that we left the room (without a refund) and looked for another hotel.
