Lovely hotel

Liked: Fabulous hotel staff all lovely Excellent clean and very comfy room breakfast was very nice and so much choice
Disliked: The jacuzzi was being repaired, the builders had cut through a pipe so the swimming pool was absolutely freezing couldn't stay in it long , couldn't use it again as far to cold was disappointed as was so looking forward to a swim and relaxing in the jacuzzi One of the reasons we chose this hotel

Liked: The location was great, food was great, pool was lovely
Disliked: This was a Christmas present for my daughter and partner and I ordered and paid the better room, described as bigger and more luxurious. My daughter said they were in a side room with a sofa bed made up in the room too, they were too shy to say anything as it was their Christmas present . They said it seemed like a staff bedroom but definitely not what was on their online marketing. Disappointed as my partner and I were going to book in as a weekend break but now not so sure.

Liked: Staff were really friendly. Room was very nice and clean and toiletries supplied were nice and good quality. Room was great value for money especially being NYE. The breakfast we had delivered to the room which was a nice option with only a small extra charge.
Disliked: The breakfast we ordered to our room wasn't very hot at all and the coffee was all spilt over everything which we understand during busy times it may be difficult but it did seem like it had been sat for a while as even the coffee was cold. Our dinner table in the function room was sat right next to a fire door which wouldn't close properly and staff kept coming in and out which caused a very uncomfortable cold draft. The drinks were expensive and was disappointed by the espresso martini which was pre-made (didn't realise when ordering) and I had to send back and get another drink as it wasn't nice.
