Lovely location, lovely hotel with...

Liked: The staff were friendly, hotel was very nice and facilities were good especially as it was out of season , the pool was clean and warm, but the location was fab, the hotel grounds etc were all very well looked after it was a lovely stay.
Disliked: Extra cost for Breakfast shame it wasn’t included in the price for the room as it ended up being an expensive over night stay for myself and 2 children, but they did enjoy there breakfast and was a good selection so that was a bonus. The bed was alittle to firm and very creaky.

Disliked: Feedback - Decor is stuck in the 1970s/1980s Carehome style. Receptionist was patrionising on check in and again when I couldn't find the room.I arrived after 9 and no food available after a long journey up from Penzance, I ordered food as I was hungry and hadn't eaten in hours and was very rudely spoken to by the receptionist upon doing so.Room was ok but again quite old fashioned, lovely comfy bed and a great desk I could do some work on.Bathroom was dated and sadly had mould round the edge of the bath and shower head.Overall a poor experience upon staying here, a shame as been looking forward to staying here for years! Will say I slept very well and the bed was incredibly comfy!Not worth the money paid sadly, probably worth around £40-£50 a night based on other places I have stayed not £130.I apologise for the negativity, I always like to be positive but had a really bad experience staying here.
