Liked: Great location, stunning centuries old building with sympathetic modern additions and beautiful grounds. Food excellent, staff welcoming and helpful. Room very comfortable with every amenity required.

Lovely comfortable stay

Liked: Lovely room overlooking the pond, I really enjoyed being able to sit out on the balcony with my early morning coffee
Disliked: I would have liked a usb charging point… my fault as I had forgotten my own plug, but I would have expected rooms to have charging points…..however the staff were very helpful in finding me one to borrow.I also couldn’t find any information about onsite electric vehicle charging facilities …. As an EV driver it would be a bonus to be given directions to the closet ones . This didn’t affect the quality of my stay in anyway of course. It’s a shame that I wasn’t able to spend some more time exploring the beautiful hotel and gardens
