Historic, unique, and comfortable stay...

Liked: Love how the property is designed as a comfortable hotel in a historic prison setting. The museum, art gallery, restaurant, and location are unique. Breakfast, restaurant, and island setting are wonderful. There are lots of lovely places to sit and relax throughout the property. The island is a peaceful place to wander yet close to everything.
Disliked: This is my second stay so there isn't really anything I don't like.

Liked: I had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel! The breakfast was a highlight—having warm pancakes and freshly made scrambled eggs was a delightful surprise. The dining area offered a great selection of food, making for a perfect start to the day. The island location added to the charm, with beautiful scenery that made my stay even more enjoyable.Additionally, every staff member I encountered was incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming. Their hospitality truly made a difference in my experience. The bed was also very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after a long day of exploring.This hotel is a perfect blend of history, comfort, and great service—I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!
Disliked: there’s one small “issue”…The hotel’s shower gel and hand soap are so good that I genuinely considered checking in a suitcase just to take them home. Unfortunately, since I only had carry-on luggage, I had to leave them behind—heartbreaking! Maybe the hotel could start selling travel-sized versions at the reception?
