Genteel charm
Liked: Interesting and historic building. Classic genteel feel real sense of past grandeur. Seascape, fjord bathing and village completely charming.Rooms in annexe separate to main building. Helpful affable host.Great breakfast
Disliked: Some areas feel unfinished.

Liked: I think it was during our Norwegian trip most beautiful and romantic hotel where we stayed. The hotel is next to the fjord and you can take a sunset walk or admire the beautiful nature. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant, which offers very tasty food. The rooms were nice, comfortable and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Parking is possible next to the main building and is free of charge. I think we met the hotel owners - very nice people. All the best to you, you have a wonderful place.

Nice location but would not...
Liked: Breakfast was good and the view of the water from the property was beautiful.
Disliked: The bathrooms did not have basic shower toiletries (shampoo or conditioner) and had very thin small towels. The room was also very loud where you can hear every other guest staying in the same house enter or exit the building. The overall room accommodations were significantly below my expectations.

Beautiful location!
Liked: Perfectly located. Beautiful old buildings. Interesting history.
Disliked: No tea & coffee available in the room or toiletries. For the price, this seemed a little ungenerous. Weren’t allowed to park in the parking spots near our room so a haul with the bags.Dinner and breakfast not in the nice eating room, a shame because the pictures featured of this room were part of what attracted me to this hotel.The dinner was luke warm and tasteless.
