In the heart of the Lake District this 4-star woodland estate offers a luxury spa award-winning dining and 35 acres of scenic grounds. Langdale Hotel is a 10-minute drive from Ambleside. Rooms at Langdale each have a modern bathroom with designer toiletries and luxury robes. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV free Wi-Fi and an iPod dock and the beds have Egyptian cotton sheets. second time, won't be the...

Liked: a lovely place, gets busy during school holidays but otherwise a lovely place for a romantic getaway or a nice anniversary.
Disliked: parking can be difficult, lots of visitors during this time of the year.

Enjoyed our stay but not...

Liked: Nice selection at breakfast.Had lovely meal in the evening,but told the restaurant was full eventually a table was found,should have informed us to book when we first arrived at the hotel.Staff very friendly and helpful.Liked the pub Wainwright enjoyed food and quiz night there.
Disliked: Eggs took to long to arrive.Foodvwas Luke warm.Hash browns soggy.Would have like tea and coffee to be served,food too.pool close when we arrived.Pool scruffy jacuzzi not in use.couldnt get in sauna too crowded.

Liked: The food was fantastic and plenty of variety. The location was breath taking x
Disliked: The parking was a bit awkward when it got busy
