Liked: The main hall was gorgeous with roaring log fire and giant Christmas tree.
Disliked: Red wine was served ice cold

Quite magical!
Liked: The grand hall is decorated beautifully with the huge open fire making it so cosy. The tree is stunning as are all the decorations in the dining rooms and bar.Food was very good as was the service. Very comfortable room and bed and after a great sleep we had a superb breakfast.
Disliked: Choice of wines by the glass.

Quaint, friendly and will definitely...
Liked: Location good, hotel was as expected and staff all very friendly. Hotel has good ambience, modern hotels don’t have the charm of a hotel like this, we will be staying again.
Disliked: Hotel dining room very busy so lots of non-resident guests at the hotel (Xmas festivities and a Sunday) parking only available in other car park. Not a problem as not far but weather not good and a bit muddy.
