Liked: The staff were amazing, lovely comfortable hotel. Some aspects were a bit dated but it added to the charm. Food was also excellent.

Stunning!

Liked: As you walk in the front door the whole place just has the WOW factor. From the sweeping staircase to the decor to the roaring log fire you just feel like you have stepped back in time. Friendly and attentive, its certainly the place to go if you want to really relax and unwind. My dog stopped eating while there due to being a bit nervous and the hotel happily cooked her a couple of sausages for her breakfast which she wolfed down:)
Disliked: I cant think of anythng they could have done to make our stay any better.

Liked: It is absolutely outstanding this gem of a hotel nestled in Alyth . The quality and standards are 1st class . Food & service superb and the FIRE probably the best in Scotland. Owners & staff delightful .

Liked: Breakfast was really good also evening meal. The roaring fine was great and the settes and beds very comfortable.
Disliked: The lighting is mainly lamps which are heavily shaded and I found it difficult to read my book.

Unique Perthshire stay

Liked: Unique property and very comfortable . Outstanding food and service .
Disliked: The bed wasn’t very comfortable for me . RoomNeeded some light modernising.
