The Landmark Motor Inn is...

Liked: It was close to where my conference took place. Parking was good. The desk clerk who checked us out was pleasant and easy to understand.
Disliked: The lobby, eating area off the lobby, and our rooms smelled of mothballs or disuse. We are not sure which best describes the smell. It was enough to cancel our stay had we known in time. The bathtub mat looked old and worn. Upon arrival to our rooms, we found them to be as cold as outdoors. It took 45 minutes to begin to warm up the rooms. We did not eat breakfast there the next morning because the selection was very limiting.

Disliked: Spiders in several areas of the rooms. I also know they still have the same carpets from when they had the sewage back up in several rooms! No lift cover in the room and could see wires

Electrical and fire alarm issues

Disliked: We didn't stay. We received a refund when requested due to electrical lights not working and fire alarm chirping. The front desk help was excellent!

Unpleasant

Liked: The hot tub and pool
Disliked: Because we were locals we had to give $250 CASH hat check in that they hold in case you damage the room, ONLY for locals! When you check out they go check your room and if all good you get the money back. Also check out is at 11am and while were asleep the house keeper just walked in at 8am, she apologized and left but talk about a heartattak! Getting startled awake to someone walking in the room. Beds are very uncomfortable.
