The Land-Hotel Am Wald is a family-run hotel surrounded by woods and nature located in the immediate vicinity of the peaceful Thuringian town of Greiz. Liked: Very nice owner who, although spoke no English was very attentive but unobtrusive. No bar but a very good value mini bar in the room. Nice touch in providing rolls at breakfast for the day's pack lunch. Excellent value
Disliked: A bit off the beaten track and pesky wasps due to temperature of 31c!

Superb

Liked: Nice and fresh. A nice detail was that one could take along food from the breakfast. The host provided tinfoil and a plastic bag. The WiFi was good.
Disliked: No air condition.
