Awesome room. It showed a hot tub in our room but it wasn't. But I enjoy myself and my guests did also.
Liked: Food and bar drinks.
Disliked: Pool closed at 11 so my fiance didn't get to swim.

Exceptional
Liked: We were upgraded to a nicer room when we got there.
Disliked: I had a hard time figuring out how to turn the water on in the shower and the water pressure wasn't very good.

Nice, clean, quiet, peaceful.
Liked: The overall of the hotel, nice clean, even with thousands of cheerleaders.
Disliked: There’s nothing I can say bad about this property. Plan to stay here next year for the cheer competition.

May not be back.
Liked: Front desk reception excellent; professional hospitable, and informative. We were given an upgrade for a city view from the 17th floor giving us a bird's eye view of the New Years Eve fireworks. Hallways, elevators, rooms, and bathrooms were impeccable.
Disliked: Parking situation a little strange. Valets outside that don't valet. Hotel access from parking garage 2nd level but directional signage is poor. While there were no bellmen/women, there were enough luggage trolleys or bell carts. Staffing for the Plough and The Exchange gets the poorest rating. Rooms were not bussed and cleaned in a respectable amount of time. Guests entered to view dirty tables of dishes from multiple courses. Community tables in the Plough should have been split to accommodate more deuces as you'd expect on a holiday like NYE or Valentine's Day. Bartenders in both outlets couldn't/didn't work their entire bar but were forced, perhaps by habit or just plain lack of peripheral awareness of waiting customers seated at the bar, to wait on non-seated customers waiting in a line on the near (to the front entrance)side. This was the case for both Plough and Exchange. And wtf is with not being able to access the Exchange elevators from inside the hotel?? We had to run down the street white it was raining cats and dogs. No or not enough greeters at the Exchange podium. Guests of the elevators left standing and waiting for.....? Once again very dirty and obviously not bussed tables with no guests seated, staying not attended with no formidable floor plan or management. Podium was unattended at more than a few instances. Seated at the bar, we ordered a drink a looked at the food menu. Drinks were ok, served with no cocktail napkins. The pizza was underdone. No crisp brown bubbles in the crust, served with no utensil/napkins setups. This is all in the starkest of contrasts with a written review I left after my first visit to the Exchange only a year ago. This visit was my third. Later at the Plough, a saxophonist began his set standing on a dirty table at the front entrance. He then started to mill about the room while playing, which was a nice touch actually.

Facility great. One female bartender...
Liked: The facility was beautiful.
Disliked: The main purpose was to have a nice dinner upon arrival. The restaurant closed at 930pm ON NEW YEARS EVE?! I could not get room service, or even a potato chip. I understand that it was Tuesday evening, but how can Marriott close the food at 930pm while the bar is active.

Between the room, dinner, parking...
Liked: It was Christmas Day so the property was beautiful. The lights outside and decorations were perfect for the holiday.
Disliked: We had to pay for parking even though the garage is attached to the hotel which I think is disgraceful for a guest. The room was not as clean as I would have thought for a king suite. The floors were sticky, the bathroom wasn’t clean and the blanket and furniture had stains on them. We also paid an additional $40 for a breakfast buffet that was by far the worst food and experience I have ever had. The staff was rude and the food was ice cold and old.

Sleepless night due to bugs...
Disliked: Insects in my room , reported 2 hours after check in on my way out the door to a Wedding. Brought 3 bugs in a plastic bag to the desk upon checkout in the morning ... was offered an unsolicited full refund . The next day called to follow up and was told nobody offered me Anything ( not even a cup of coffee) and called me a liar . But admitted they knew there was an Insect issue in that room. I will never stay in a Marriott Hotel in the future
