Liked: The service from staff was excellent, very friendly. The food was exceptional - we had dinner the night before in the restaurant and there was a great choice on the menu. Breakfast was also fantastic - choice of cereals and also cooked breakfast. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and bathroom was great as it had a shower and a bath. All very clean. Could not fault any of it.
Disliked: N/A - loved it all.

Liked: The dabbling duck is great and lovely food. The games in the bookshelf are a nice touch.
Disliked: The bathroom we had was outdated and the room didn’t match the photos on the site at all which was really disappointing. The electric shower had minimal water pressure. There was no fridge in the room or hairdryer either.

Disliked: Our room was in dire need of renovation, the door was rotting, paintwork chipped and condensation on windowsThe bathroom had been modernised but not the rest of room. Made room seem scruffy because of it.

Disliked: Narrow lane to access the hotel.

Disliked: They call it a Country House Hotel but to us it's an attractive mobile homes park with restaurant, bar & annexed bedrooms.

Dog friendly, great location

Liked: Great Dog friendly getaway. Once we discovered the main road, the sat nav guided us through a tiny village and tight country lanes, but the lady on reception corrected that as we were staying 3 nights and wanted to drive around the area, which is beautiful.Our room had twin beds, tea making facilities, tv with netflix and WiFi, and a large shower in the bathroom with a good hot stream of water.The dabbling duck serves a good variety of evening meals and a full English breakfast.Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful stay. Thank you.
Disliked: Our mattresses were a little wobbly, time for a change, maybe.Our front door looked like it could do with a paint too.Not complaints, just observations.
