Liked: As regular visitors to Queenstown, this location was exactly where we wanted to be. Stunning. Close to town. Great walks nearby. On-site parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean.
Disliked: First room was a little dated and had a tap in the kitchen that constantly dripped and a noisy fridge. Comfy bed.Second room was fresher, but the bed was less comfortable.We didn’t understand how the TV system worked. We wanted to watch free to air news but could only find prerecorded on an app.

Liked: there was NOTHING to like about this room. When I checked in and saw the room - my immediate request for another room was declined.
Disliked: The room was on ground floor facing street. The vehicle noise was akin to being next to a Motor racing track - loud cars all night. there was no air conditioning and the windows had to be closed at night to secure the room from intruders and keep out the noise. The room was in very poor condition, the kitchen cupboards were filthy and the carpet/room had a dank damp smell.The window in kitchen was covered with filthy grubby blind that opened into alley to public laundry that was used by other occupants all night. The windows in bathroom also opened into same alley - both had to be closed to enable security from external unauthorized entry. The electrical fittings etc are cobbled together with power boards - the oven chained to the wall! I doubt that anyone would use it let alone try to steal it! Although I had booked for 3 nights I LEFT THE NEXT DAY!. As I checked out the proprietor offered a better room - something that had been refused the night before. I expect a full refund as this property was not as represented by Booking.com! I have videoed each of the matters I have referred to above and more - this is summary of the unit. the only thing going for this place was the bed was comfortable - although the dank smell in the room and the outside noise, noise of people in laundry area and the external light constantly shining into the room all night detracted from that. The bathroom was newer and clean and adequate.
