Disliked: i have disabilities. under the Ontario Human Rights Code, those with disabilities are to have their needs accommodated up to the point of undue hardship. when i let one of the manager/owners know this, when i was letting her know this was the reason i needed special accommodation for something, she put me down, saying that i "wanted" this, as if i was a child, petulantly wanting her way. i told her that no, i needed things done this way. we had a conversation where she kept trying to talk me out of having my needs met, continually back and forth where i kept having to tell her again and bring her back into line with what i needed. what i was asking for was no where near the point of undue hardship. it was an inconvenience for them. doing things at a time that was not what they desired, but in no way unreasonable. this was all on camera in the office.

Disliked: this is in response to the manager/owner's response to my review of march 25. when i registered, you told me that you did not do long term anymore because you had too many problems with it. you did not say that it was for the room i was in, as you said in your response, you said you did not do it. (as you can see as was recorded on your camera, which i had previously told you to do and you said you would.)i had booked to be leaving on the 24th and told you 2 or 3 days before that that i would likely be leaving on the 24th. that was when you told me about the bachelor/studio (that was how you described it) coming available. i did not continue booking after that, as you said in your response, i left in the 24th as i said i probably would. there was nothing about the timing or situation that was a cause for any of this, as you said in your response. all of this just points to further deceit and dishonesty.

Disliked: the owner/manager is dishonest. i booked for 1 night, then asked if i could stay long term for a long term rate. he said no, he doesn't do that anymore. then he looked at giving me a weekly discount and just said no. so i stayed booking at the usual rate here, a few days at a time, looking for elsewhere, as regular rate is a lot for longer term. after almost a month i had found nowhere, so i told him i would likely be leaving in a few days, thinking i would find ANYWHERE that would be equally as good and take my chance on the price. he said that he had a unit which was essentially a bachelor/studio available in several days for by the month rate, the rate was significantly less than what i was paying in total by the daily rate (for the smallest, queen bed, table, fridge, microwave, coffee , 2 night tables, tv etc, shower, and barely room left to walk.) then he started telling me about he had offered me a lower rate for the room i was in and i hadnt taken him up on it, he said. i told him he had not offered me a lower rate and we had a long skewed conversation in which he was justifying and trying to say things to backup what he was saying. i kept telling him to look at the camera recording of when i had asked him about a discount, he kept diverting the conversation. finally i said no, you look at it. he said he would. i didnt hear anything back from him.

Would recommend and stay again

Liked: Was convenient and easy to assess.
Disliked: Overall was happy other then both nights around 2am there was a lot of loud noises above my room that woke me up and kept me awake.
