Decent - nice location good...
Liked: Good location - nice views
Disliked: The bed was not very comfy, it was smaller than a queen. Too soft and a little lumpy. The property is a little old, but has had some renovation. It's fine.

Fine for one night, but...
Liked: Location is superb. Right on the lake, next to many restaurants and shops.
Disliked: The long, noisy train that rolled through at 2 a.m. about 20 yards from the room. Extremely poor continental breakfast Very cheap furnishings. Cheap upgrades throughout No counter space in bathroom For what they charge, they should provide better breakfast and furnishings

It SUCKED!
Liked: Most of the staff was nice. But manager, Heather was for the most part, heartless. I had an accident and had to talk to her.
Disliked: I have stayed at Lakeshore 3 times. I have spent more than $2,500. The place needs some SERIOUS renovations! The place is VERY dated, like a Howard Johnson's motel, not resort like advertised! This place could be a deathtrap! Check out the awkward step up and step over from your balcony into your room in room 15! So, 1960's and I'm being nice! Why should you have to step over a 6-8" high 2 feet deep barrier to get from your room to balcony and balcony to room? The sliding glass door stuck, it was difficult to open/shut. A/C didn't work, dirty carpet, tiny bathroom. Entrance door very squeaky and hard to open. I got stuck on my balcony for 45 minutes b/c when I tried to close my stuck, sliding glass door from the outside of the balcony, I pushed too hard accidentally b/c it was so stuck and would budge, the door finally moved and I got locked out with NO WAY to get back in! NO WAY! There should be a release on the door to safely reenter! I had to beg for help! I didn't have my phone with me and had to shout for help. There was no way to climb over anything b/c the entire room was surrounded by water! It was TERRIFYING! I would have had to jump in the lake, swim about 200 yards, climb onto the rocky embankment, climb up another very steep hill in my wet clothes! I'm almost 65! Then, I had to return to Lakeshore for the final leg of my stay. I had already hiked 10-12 miles in Glacier, climbed a million stairs in over my 2 week trip, I calculated on my phone that I had walked nearly 50 miles over 2 weeks and I was exhausted! I tripped over a barrier from my balcony to my room due to a ministroke, lost my balance and tried to break my fall. I hit the already super old TV, and broke it. I had never accidently broken anything on a rental property my entire 64 years of travel.
