Great, other than the loud...

Liked: Breakfast was very basic, but that is what we paid for ! At least there was a coffee machine !
Disliked: Around 22.30 some guests (or maybe staff) arrived at the lodge, and started to argue very loudly upstairs from me. It sounded like the female was very drunk, and was using many f*** words at loud volume. This continued for well over an hour. I was almost fearful to leave my room to have a shower - and I definitely locked and chained my door !I was too scared to go upstairs to ask them to keep the noise down, so I had to put up with it until it stopped. Otherwise the stay was great.

Disliked: The walls in this divided up house must be very thin. I heard snoring and coughing from other rooms all night.The room was very dated and fittings all rusty(?)

Liked: Good location. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: If you are looking for a real B&B this is not the case. It is more a hotel extension of the motel next door. No contact with owner or anybody on site. I book B&B to meet local people and that is not happening here.

Liked: Barry, the proprietor was very helpful and informative about Rotorua, its places of interest, Sulphur Point, the Redwoods, etc., and Eat Street. The bedroom was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. In the high temperature the small swimming pool was very welcome.
