Liked: Good quality hotel with the perfect location close to a lot of fun attractions and food!

Good place to stay in...

Liked: Hotel was in a good location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On the weekends they had tea/coffee and little pastries in the morning as well as Agua de Fresca for the afternoons. The room was quite large as well.
Disliked: Shower leaked water, had to get the toilet fixed when we arrived, could be very busy so used the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. Very minor things. The only truly bad thing was the noise. The ventilation system was very loud and outside noise was very noticeable at times. Needed earplugs!

Good option close to Reforma

Liked: The location is excellent, very close to the Diana roundabout. Plenty of activities and restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly, specially the gentlemen from the valet parking.
Disliked: The AC in our room didn't work, we were super hot at night. I kept forgetting to tell reception about it, so I don't know if they would have been able to fix it, but it made us uncomfortable.

Disliked: Staying at Laila hotel was one of the worst possible experiences I had in a while. There is no air conditioning in the room. Even repeated complaints to the front desk only resulted in a mechanic being sent the first day but he was not able to fix a problem. We were provided a room fan which was so loud that you couldn't sleep at night. Was definitely not worth the money. Spent staying in a so-called high end reformer Hotel. Truly a waste of money.

Good

Liked: Breakfast buffet is great. The hotel location generally is good, but the traffic at the front of the hotel is heavy all the time. Try to walk to Avenida Paseo De La Reforma if you want to take Uber or taxi.
Disliked: Room facility is old and not well-maintained. Shower head has bad water flow and there’s a slow shower drain too. But the staff fixed those pretty quick after the request.
