Beautiful park location

Liked: We chose the location because we were traveling with our dog and it is set within a park. The park is beautiful. We loved the location. The spa was very nice as well and had a small fridge with refreshments which was a nice touch. We splurged on the breakfast one day and it was very high quality. The outside deck on the pond was a beautiful place to have a meal. Location was also very convenient right off the tram.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there was a full scale carnival outside the hotel that was very loud. Our dog was quite scared and we could not walk her for more than a few minutes at night- wasn't the hotel's fault but beware in the summer as we chose it because we thought it was quiet for our nervous dog and that was not the case. The receptionist was quite rude when we showed up with a dog as well. He said we were supposed to tell them in advance because only certain rooms are available for dogs. He was so unfriendly I thought he would turn us away but in the end, he didn't. I had seen pet friendly and thought we would have no issue. Very easy to oversee the fine print that you must inform them in advance. Other staff were more friendly fortunately. Aesthetically the hotel is very German in its lack of refined interior design but was that to be expected.

Great hotel in Ulm

Liked: Amazing hotel on a lovely little lake, not far from old town. Staff were very nice and helpful. The family room was big and very nice.

Liked: Great facility with modern and comfortable rooms, close to the river - direct access to the park and walking areas. Friendly staff. nice view from high floor rooms.
Disliked: No dining option in case of late arrival after 21.30
