This was our first time at the Lafayette Hotel. Everything was great. Will stay again.

Liked: The nostalgia of the hotel was great.

Loved the hotel and location. Would stay there again if I could get a larger room.

Liked: Beautiful woodwork in the room. Very professional and friendly staff. Loved the history of the hotel.
Disliked: Room was very small and smoke alarm would go off every time I took a shower.

Great location but overall just...

Liked: It was a great location to walk to the river and close walking and driving distance of everything else.
Disliked: We had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to return to the front desk to check us in which put us behind for our dinner plans. I had reserved a River view room while it did have a view of the river you had to look over a parking lot and cars to see it. Just not what I was expecting from other photos. The room was pretty small for a queen but it was only for one night so it was fine. Definitely historical hotel. It was fine overall for just the short time we were there but don’t know if I could spend multiple days.

Disliked: Mattress not the best, mildew smelling shower area, toilet didn’t flush well, sink leaked. Lamps and ceiling fan dirty.
