This was our first time at the Lafayette Hotel. Everything was great. Will stay again.

Liked: The nostalgia of the hotel was great.
Disliked: None.

Loved the hotel and location. Would stay there again if I could get a larger room.

Liked: Beautiful woodwork in the room. Very professional and friendly staff. Loved the history of the hotel.
Disliked: Room was very small and smoke alarm would go off every time I took a shower.

Liked: I love the way he room was arranged. We slept well.
Disliked: I forgot my prescription glasses and I remembered seeing them there. However the housekeeping did not find them.

Liked: Great location, great history. The bar and restaurant, lobby area and buffet breakfast were inviting, cozy and delicious. We walked all around the historic town and enjoyed the sitting area in the lobby in the evening.
Disliked: Pealing paint in the room and could use some TLC

nice view, but the hotel...

Liked: the view and the location were the only positive things. the restaurant was good and the staff very nice.
Disliked: At the arrival, the receptionist was not welcoming, we had to wait and she handed us a couple of papers and that was the welcome. The room needs some maintenance, and we even found a cockroach in the bathroom the first night.

Wonderful place to stay for...

Liked: Dinner was delicious, breakfast was hot and satisfying. Hot shower, decent bed.. could have been better. Ambiance and decor were amazing, beautiful woodwork throughout. Excellent location, close to everything.
Disliked: No roof access, no ghost tour or story telling.
