Liked: Very clean and comfortable throughout. The owners were all lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fabulous. Good location and very good value. Felt safe and welcome as a solo traveler.

Superb hospitality, wonderful old building,...

Liked: Propietors were so helpful and went out of their way to make your stay perfect. Wonderful garden to enjoy a complimentary drink in, and of course their excellent cooked breakfast. Great lounge with old leather sofas and a pool table. The entire place was immaculate and regularly maintained.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Excellent service from Stu who was a wealth of local knowledge. The complimentary wine on the balcony was a lovely bonus and the delicious breakfast in the garden topped it off.
Disliked: Shared bathroom was not ideal for older couple

Enjoyed the brief stay in...

Liked: Breakfast was good. But I always prefer fresh fruit, not tinned peaches. Lotsa fresh fruit available, especially at this time of yr. The table outside in garden is nicely set out + encourages chats with other guests.
Disliked: The heavy window curtain in bedroom and way of pushing it upwards was heavy. Also, in morning. couldn't manoeuvre curtain to push it up + open. Therefore, light was minimal.
