Liked: Clean room ready when we checked in early
Disliked: Early check in fee

Overpriced and room was not...

Liked: Location good and breakfast nice.
Disliked: Toilet wouldn’t flush, carpet dirty and generally shabby. Considering it was a deluxe room and the amount paid it was unsatisfactory.

Liked: We’d stayed here a couple of years ago and loved it, but it could do with a bit of TLC now. Bathroom had mould around the edges and silicone sealant that looked like someone really didn’t care when they applied it. Taps that you didn’t know which was hot/cold. Breakfast was ok but not sure worth £18 each.

Beautiful boutique hotel in lovely...

Liked: A lovely building in a super and attractive location. A short walk to a couple of car parks. The rooms and hotel were well decorated and staff were very friendly on reception. Good tea/coffee facilities in the room. 24/7 pizza menu for room service though didn’t use it.
Disliked: The TV was a bit dated as you were unable to cast onto it and it had no access to smart services such as Netflix

Room was smaller than expected...

Liked: Great location and lovely staff. It was clean and quiet
Disliked: Small room for 2 people with one side of the bed up against the wall. It would have been better with just a single bed in it.

Perfect location, friendly staff, excellent...

Liked: This place does well because of it's location. It's a nice hotel but the rooms are a little tired. We had a constantly dripping tap which wasn't a problem. The staff were excellent and the breakfast is a 10 out of 10. However the facilities and tiredness of the rooms could have been improved but you are paying for where it is. If it was not central they would never be able to charge what they do.
Disliked: Room was tired

Disliked: Mattress a little hard for me but down to personal preference. Lighting in room also not great.

Very poor value for money.

Liked: The location is good.
Disliked: We have stayed here before but sadly it has really gone down hill. The room had a double bed rammed up against three walls making it very hard for us to get in and out. The door had a 1 inch gap under it meaning light and noise came in from the corridor. The floor was very squeaky and there was a dreadful noise from the water pipes which led to noisy staff members shouting about in the corridor just before midnight. My English breakfast was small and the beans were congealed and my wife’s breakfast had items missing. One serving staff member was disinterested and spent his time on his mobile phone. I would have raised these issues on checkout but the receptionist seemed to be having trouble talking. We had a booking here for next April but I have now cancelled it.
