A comfortable and convenient place...

Liked: Re the bonus question on method of transport used to reach 'this destination city', Wylam is a village, not a city, but the property benefits from a railway station 10 minutes walk away, with a train service to Newcastle, which was especially convenient as I was attending a meeting there on the Saturday.

Liked: Staff are a really special crew and made me feel very welcome. Delicious food and the bath was a delight after 5 days' walking.

Superb

Liked: It was a very comfortable, quiet room. 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Ate at the restaurant there and had an excellent meal. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.

Ideal for a romantic get...

Liked: It was an efficient reception process. The room was large an well equipped. The staff were pleasant, the dining facilities comfortable and the food served was excellent.
Disliked: It was all fine.
