Should’ve come during the summer....

Liked: Old style charm , close to Ithaca college, good heating system.
Disliked: Under renovation and booking.com did not notify us. We did not get the expected 2 queen beds and had to get a king and roller bed. It was off season and felt like a ghost town

This is a charming place...

Liked: The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. The inn was undergoing renovations, but the signs were clear about where to go for an alternate check-in (spa office) and where not to go to avoid construction. The king bedroom and bathroom were charming with wooden floors and two-sink attractive vanity. It was quiet. On Friday/weekdays, we could choose items for a bagged continental breakfast the night prior to pick up at front desk... good, convenient & included in price.
Disliked: The jets in the room tub were too loud/powerful for tub size. Breakfast (included) on weekend in the interesting, separate restaurant building was minimal (similar to bagged weekday options), although there were bagels one could toast. No one was in attendance, which surprised us because we thought it was a restaurant where we might order a full breakfast, even if for additional cost.

Disliked: Unfortunately, we visited during a reno and restaurant wasn't open. Excited to visit for Ithaca Graduation and see the new updates!

Superb

Liked: "Rural" setting of hotel and on-site spa.
Disliked: Toiletries have been replaced with a national name brand. The previous brand is greatly preferred.

Lovely place under renovation

Liked: The property is in a lovely location and is probably wonderful in the spring, summer and fall. They have a nice spa.
Disliked: The property is currently under renovation, which means that the restaurant isn’t functioning, breakfasts are limited and there isn’t much space to sit other than in the room. This is totally fine, but I hadn’t known this when I booked, and so found the hotel incredibly expensive for the value. I am sure it is probably worth it when it is restored- but. It now!

Disliked: I shall return.
